I find it very interesting how our country is so apt to run off and "rescue" other countries when our own is suffering and slowly falling apart. Here is my idea:
Instead of having all our troops posted all over the world (which other countries do NOT appreciate), why don't we bring them all back to American Soil? Place bases on the borders of our country and actually allow them to defend OUR country for real. We would no longer have to go to war with other countries unless they themselves started one with us. Let us leave the other countries in peace! Stop Bullying Them!!!!!
No more exporting all our jobs and importing all goods bought by Americans. I vote that we bring all our jobs back. Everything we purchase and use should be made in America by Americans. As it seems, everything we purchase is made in China. Why are we supporting the Chinese when our own families are losing their homes? Going hungry? Losing their jobs? Doesn't seem to make sense.
Well, what about oil, you ask? Where are we going to get that? Well, we do have oil refineries in Texas and Florida regions that could begin to supply oil for gasoline. This new change would force the country to find new means of energy, and I bet you they already know what that is. They are just waiting for the cash cow of gasoline to start fading out before they present it and look like they saved the world! And even if they don't, so you have to pay more in gas, but look what you have in the long term:
More Jobs!!!! More Money!!!!! Better Economy!!!! Everyone is on American Soil!!!!! Less Money wasted on wars we don't have any business being in!!! More money spent on repairing the country.
Let's take our country back to the more simpler times. You know, when the President actually went out and talked to people of his country. When he would have rolled up his sleeves and pitched in during Katrina instead of hiding in a helicopter? He would have been helping the search during 911. Our ancestoral presidents actually cared about the people. They actually reached out and became personal, real. Today, our president's are more concerned with all power and taking year long vacations. I mean, seriously, why do we need a Camp David for the president to go and relax?! That's ridiculus.
Our country needs some help, but it's a shame. No one wants to speak up.

Save the Children!!!
No, this is not a telethon to get you to send lots of money (oh, sorry, only 69 cents per day) to help feed the children you see in my telethon. Although they are just my friend's kids, all fithly after a fun day of play. And we made them take off their shoes just for a better performance. Instead, this is a more serious rant about what deranged parents are doing to their precious little ones.
My husband and I have been trying to conceive and start our own family for over a year now. We have been struggling tremendously to achieve this goal and I have spent many nights crying myself to sleep because it seems as though we will never hear the pitter patter of tiny feet running through out our hearts.
THEN! When I turn on my television, after working a hard day, I am confronted with reports of babies being thrown off a freeway overpass, or left to die on the side of the road. And let's not forget the mother from Ohio who put her newborn in the microwave and stated, "Well, if I hadn't been sooo drunk, I wouldn't have left it running for so long!". What the hell is this world coming to? Let me make one fact known to all:
IF YOU ARE GOING TO KILL YOUR BABY OR CHILD, PLEASE JUST GIVE THEM TO US!!!!! THEY WILL RECEIVE ALL THE LOVE IN THE WORLD AND WILL HAVE A VERY HAPPY, HEALTHY LIFE!!!!
STOP KILLING INNOCENT CHILDREN!
There are so many families out there (we are just one) that are praying every night that they will be blessed with a baby or child they can call their own. So do the best thing you have ever done for your children, and get them to those families who will love them dearly.
Right in my own neighborhood, a two year old little girl was beaten to death by her mother's boyfriend. What is the sense in all this? There are so many commericals about all the children all over the world who need our help, but they never once ask for us to help our own American children. The children that are being drowned in bathtubs, thrown off freeway passes, buried alive, beaten to death, or cooked in microwaves.
We need to raise our voices and put a stop to this senseless murder. How do we do that? But awareness. If every person in every neighborhood became more involved with their neighbors and watched for tell-tale signs, this would be a rarity in this country. Not only would we reduce the amount of children being killed, but we would also strengthen our communities.
Think about it.
